And when I was looking up Christmas episodes of TV shows this came up now. Yes, it was a guest during Christmas time because they kept showing the Santa’s in front of the toy shop. Oh, yeah. But this one I wouldn’t call this a Christmas episode because I thought these toys like I thought it was gonna be like the movie toys ever seen movie toys Robin Williams were like, he’s like, they’re like making like war toys. And it was it was a crazy weird movie. I

Yeah, the classic were basically he was bought as a slave to live with. Like, wow, wait, now that we think it was kind of a weird movie. Yeah. But then again, I think he was, you know, Part of it so the I guess was right but anyway yeah this was it was not as Christmasy as I thought because I thought yeah, the toys were going to be I don’t wanna say central but like, so how Christmas related and it was not it.

right. And this thing actually, the debuted after Christmas I think was like December 30, I think, if I remember correctly, so they missed that time anyway. Yeah, December 3077. So interesting timing.

It took me a while. To put that together like I kept see, you know, I’m like, who is This guy who is this guy, and it wasn’t until I actually went to look it up on IMDB after it was over that I’m like, Oh, yeah, it was.

Yeah. And then the other person that kind of looked familiar, but I looked him up. So the one that I think it was Prescott, one of the doctors the black doctor.

right. And basically, I looked him up he’s just been in a ton of stuff. Okay for like, he was like a huge character actor and like David says, and like his IMDb profile in the 70s and 80s. He established himself as a list actor and demand by networks when few roles existed for minority actors. Interesting. So he was on like, if you look at his IMDb list, it’s like on every show, and that’s why he just looks so familiar. But like I didn’t see anything where he was in like a ton of episodes of anything,

you know, I mean, a lead role.

Exactly it was just like always like a Guest Actor, you know, but a lot of show. I think the only one that he had, like Quincy had was in 10 episodes as a deputy da so maybe it was that maybe that’s why but he was the only one that can really that was the only thing that really like stuck out as multiple, you know, roles or whatever.

Yeah. So that is that’s pretty much the background no one else really jumped out at me. And there’s really a when you go look on IMDB, IMDb, there’s not really much in there. But I will say and I guess we can get into the the actual episode. This was the return of it when this this Wonder Woman series was picked up now in this season by ABC or I’m sorry CBS when it jumped to 1970. Okay, and a little background on that. A little background on that. So 1970 Lau Wagner still in there, but he’s actually playing his character son from the first series. So they they do account for the time changes. They don’t just like, blow it off and say that’s 1970. Now they actually like Diana comes back from Paradise Island after being gone for 35 years and since she doesn’t age, it doesn’t matter. But la Wagner obviously can’t be the same character anymore. So he’s actually playing his son.

Well, we wouldn’t know that because we didn’t see like the first episode of the season. We kind of jumped ahead for this. Yeah.

But it but I’ll tell you something I did notice that jumped out at me is that if you remember in the, you know, the first season Diana was very naive. Her character was Oh, yeah. And like, you know, borderline ditzy, and it is because

But this 35 years later, she’s definitely sharper, more mature. more independent. Right. You know, so she’s Yeah, it’s definitely a different it’s almost a different character, you know?

No, definitely. And which, I guess would make sense after, you know, I mean, she did go back to her home Island, I guess, but still, she’d be more used to the America or whatever.

I mean, I’m sure they kind of right It we were like holy shit we’re 1970 this you know yeah you’re like this is different not unlike the wonder woman movie that’s coming out that’s going to be setting what 84 now after jumping ahead from World War Two era yeah interesting it’s gonna be sitting at four and I don’t know what they’re doing like Chris Pine is going to be back but they show something like him in something like it’s actually a same guy like Time Trial I don’t even know what that’s going to be about but I guess what to wait to find out I think the first trailers out so that that just happened all by chance. We didn’t pick this episode knowing that the Wonder Woman trailer was gonna drop or anything? Yeah,

Like, you’re not suspicious about this toy house. And he picks that suspicious about this dog walking around this toy. Yeah, he picks it up and like the thing like squirts, like knockout sprained his face or something? He’s out but he doesn’t fall. He just kind of like falls against the wall and stay standing somehow. Exactly. I think his eyes broke

right. Yeah, so I’m guessing the instructions he was given was like, walk to this place and get in the box.

But Hoffman the toymaker guy has a freakin puppet in his hand. And he’s like mouthing

And then Oh, so then we she, where she’s being held. The other two doctors are also being held in the cells that are made from that even two by fours. It’s like chicken wire Finn boards and chicken wire. And I’m thinking how the hell is that gonna keep anyone in

but I think they seemed like they were still like drugged up though. They were like, out of it. The doctors were sleeping.

And then that’s when Dec shows up at her apartment. And the MP guys there. So he’s like, I wonder if I might interest you in a bowl of alphabet soup. That’s how he drops the password on him. So he lets him in.

She pretends like yeah, sleep as what as soon as they take one of them out, she spins into woman, Wonder Woman and gets out of the jail, which like you said she probably didn’t have to because it was so

easy, right? She does exactly what any normal human being would do and just basically kicks the door because it’s made a chicken wire and comes out.

They’re selling basically selling the doctors to some foreign government so that they can put the the weapon together or whatever it is, you know. So that’s what it’s XYZ was. It was like a weapon designed, but it’s in their head doesn’t make it doesn’t burn other notes and stuff. It just is dumb.

Yeah, but then after he gets him all in, she gets all the guys in there. The Dexter guy, the Dexter guy just pulls out a gun. And he’s like, what are you doing? He’s like, Look, if it’s not really her, you can build another one, you know, so he starts shooting there. And obviously she deflects all the bullets and the old guy runs away, like the other guy doesn’t even do anything. And the old guy runs away she pulls the headband off and whips it out of him over Yeah, I was thinking she’s like, remember that movie crawl their head like that throwing suck. Like she goes crawl on this guy with. Yeah. Then the other guy slowly walks into the car and tries to drive away but she lifts up the back end. And she’s like, yeah, this is the disadvantage of a rear wheel drive car.
